Hello friends and activism enthusiasts!

In case you haven't heard yet, inSPIre! A School of Public Interest on Creative Activism is being held Jan 29-31st 2010! As this will be a large weekend not-your-typical-conference with various forms of creative activism including workshops and DIY booths throughout the day, and performances and general good times in the evening, we welcome any and all to help. If you have ideas, energy, enthusiasm and passion for out-of-the-box activism then you'll want to get involved with inSPIre! There are many ways to get involved - from putting up posters and spreading the word during the next few weeks, to coordinating a DIY booth, setting up tables and chairs at the event, performing at our Saturday night show, and much more. We are hosting a volunteer meeting TOMORROW Wednesday January 13th at 12 Noon in the WPIRG office, SLC 2139, University of Waterloo. So come on out! And a final note, if you are interested in helping to create a large scale mural (hopefully to be permanently placed in the SLC!) please come to our Mural Visioning Session on Monday January 18th at 12 Noon in the WPIRG office - bring your lunch but not necessarily any art skills!
