I've just sent this to our Waterloo Tory MP Mr. Peter Braid. His conduct on the CTV show Power Play was in my view disgusting. It resulted in the email below.

It is imperative that we elect this man out. His conduct is inexcusable.

Dear Mr. Braid
 
Your party's commitment to a 17% reduction in emissions leaves us looking at 
a scortched earth scenerio. Copenhagen was a Canadian failure and embarassment. 
I am ashamed at the government inaction on this matter.
 
Your conduct on CTV's power play was an embarassment for our community and 
nation. The Canadian government issued command to our troops to hand over Afghan 
Detainees to agencies that may harm or kill these prisioners. It has created 
tort damages to our Canadian troops and led to the deaths of some of these 
prisoners. Our troops and the Canadian public deserve answers as to why their 
government made them do this. To imply that anyone seeking answers is against 
the troops is unreasonable and in my view defamatory. 
 
Conservatives were invited to participate in today's meeting regarding the 
Afghan Detainee issue and they chose not to show up.  To state that this process 
was a "sham committee with stacked witnesses" is in my view incorrect and once 
again defamatory Mr.Braid. 
 
I did have a glimps of your tortured soul during our climate change meeting 
and I had faith that perhaps you could muster up some courage, some moral 
strength from within to help do the right thing but in viewing CTV's Power Play 
I have no hope left in your ability to be a leader in our community. You were 
manipulative, conniving, condescending and it was clear you were trying to stick 
to the script assuming that the average Canadian lister is but a fool.
 
 I've taken the liberty to circuate that video widely amoung people of 
influence in our community. In my view is very important that people witness the 
conduct that you exhibited. I believe it is fair to assume this will be your 
last term in office sir. It is clear there is simply no point in having any sort 
of further discussions with you.
