Hi Louisette-
Can you put together a short statement of just what action GREN would be
supporting? We all know some things about your good work, but it goes in a
variety of directions. I think GREN members need to know just what they're
putting their (our) name to before we could decide how best to support you.
All the best,
Susan B.

Subject: [All] West Side Lands update and GREN position clairification
needed
Hello everyone
I have secured a conference call with to solicitors, Richard Lindgren and
Ramani Nadarajah of Canadian Environmental Law in regards to the West Side
Lands for a conferance call next week.
I'm meeting with staff from Council of Canadians this weekend and Ecojustice
on Monday.
The question is, what roll would GREN like to play in this process? If GREN
wants to support me and persue this motion towards the possible court
process I'd have a far greater chance at securing pro bono legal support
than if I go alone. This could be the major key issue that formally
incorporates us as a group and gives us a the chance to become a high
profile credible organization in this community. CELA, Ecojustice could help
set that up for us.
If I go alone, I would like to request the endorsement of GREN for my
efforts to show public support for the cause. If so I would like to secure a
bona fide GREN letter that I can relay to these respective agencies to be
presented to them this weekend if possible.
If GREN would not like to endorse the effort, that's OK too. I've been
working as a mavrick for quite some time. Come hell or high water I'm taking
this matter as far as my little wings will fly. Whatever GREN choses, I will
continue on this quest for meaningful source water protection.
Today I'm giving the photo of Mary in the Forest to the Carmelites to use as
they see fit. All the rights, all the use of the images is my gift to the
sisters for their undying love and support shown to my family and towards
this cause. They continue to pray for us and the protection of the Waterloo
Moraine.
Thank you kindly for your time. May God Bless us all in these efforts.
Louisette Lanteigne
