Hello Members of GREN
I've just built a website regarding the proposed Columbia Road Extension.
There are endangered species in the area of this roadway confirmed in ESPA 19 including the Hooded Warbler, Acadian Flycatcher, Red Headed Woodpeckers as well as provincially significant Yellow Spotted Salamander and possibly Jeffersons. Jeffersons are confirmed in ESPA 17 to the north in Regional Documents.
Data regarding the West Side Lands shows a zero margin of error to exceed MOE levels for Chloride. This proposal may lead to the permanent closure of the Greenbrook Wells. Regional taxpayers paid 12 million for to remediate these wells from the 1,4 dioxane issues coming from an old landfill.
If we kill this roadway, using salt and rare species, the West Side Lands will not be built. This is the only way they can get traffic to and from this proposed subdivision area. To date a draft plan has yet to be approved thanks to the OMB process I just completed.
I highly encourage everyone to submit a part II order request to the Minister of Environment calling for a MOE review of this matter. Supporting materials are available on this website. Just click the button to get to the right page.

Thank everyone.
