[All] GREN Christmas Party Reminder

Excitement mounts as the date of the GREN Christmas Party (December 9)
approaches! Bakers are baking and chestnuts are roasting! Best of all, Susan
Koswan has agreed NOT to bring her accordion. 

 

Let's make this a big party---so invite people from your groups, potential
GREN members, any and all hangers-on. 

 

Please let me know, at shbryant at artsmail.uwaterloo.ca, if you plan to come
so I have a rough idea of numbers.

Hi All Grenners-

 

Save the evening of Dec. 9 for the GREN CHRISTMAS PARTY!! Come one and all!
Here's our chance to visit and laugh and even sing together. Let's start
early-7:00 p.m.  

 

It's at my house in Elmira, and you're welcome to bring kids, mates,
friends, and so on. Finger-food and libations are also welcome. As the date
rolls closer, I'll remind you and get a rough head count.

Take the Conestoga Parkway north (Highway 85) and continue straight on
through the roundabout at St. Jacobs. As you come into Elmira, the highway
turns into the main street, Arthur St. 

 

Go through the 3 lights at the edge of town. As you enter the older part of
town just before the commercial area, Park Ave is on your left just after
the bandstand. Turn left, and we're the second house in on your left. You
can park on the street, or go up the laneway beside the house and use the
dentist's parking lot. 

 

Or take the last bus to Elmira and hitch a ride home with someone. It leaves
Conestoga Mall at 6:15 and gets into Elmira at 6:45. Stay on the bus until
stop #3815 (Snyder and South St.) Backtrack one short block to Park Ave,
turn right, and come down the street to #5.
