I believe that each of you is being cc’d on many of the e-mails and updates being sent to the core organizing team.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><b class="">2) Official Plan 101 Webinar for Elected Officials in the Grand River Watershed - Feb 17th, 4pm</b> - below is the information poster for the Feb 17th 4pm webinar for elected officials in the Grand River watershed on the Official Plan Review and MCR process currently underway in most area municipalities.<div><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class=""><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The invitation has been sent out to area elected officials by the Ontario Greenbelt Alliance though it will be up to us to promote it now and ensure that we are doing all we can to help educate our politicians on Official Plans (many politicians have never done an Official Plan before and the need for education is considerable). This session will try to focus on things that Councillors should be aware of the most - best practices, common mistakes, innovative things happening in Official Plans elsewhere that they should be considering, etc.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I encourage you to personally reach out to the politicians that you think would benefit the most and encourage them to attend.
