<div class="">This sounds like a great idea. Even better, upon reviewing the OGA list it is only about 8 groups that they want us to reach out to in this area. The only issue that I can see is that the OGA database only includes an e-mail address and very
few phone numbers. However, it would be easy to send an e-mail to each of the 8 group contact people to get a phone number and set up a time for a call.</div>

<div class="">I have attached the confidential list below in an Excel format. You can see the groups with my name beside them for contact. Some of them like Ella and the Wellington Water Watchers we already know well.</div>

<div class="">The tentative date for the large Zoom meeting is likely going to be the week of Friday October 5th. I will send along details as they become available and the draft agenda is below. The main point of reaching out to these local groups is really
just to touch base, ensure they still exist, and let them know of the new, evolving format (grassroots rather than Environmental Defence lead) of the Ontario Greenbelt Alliance.</div>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class=""> </span>Kevin and I talked last night about the status of the contract through Environment Hamilton on the Greenbelt matters. The contract has been signed. The Greenbelt group is organizing a province-wide
zoom meeting for later this month for the groups who have been involved in the issue. As part of our contract, they expect us to reach out to about 20 groups in our extended area to encourage them to come on to the meeting. They are not asking us to actually
organize the meeting. Kevin basically left it that he would get to calling them – among all the other insane amount of items that he is doing.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class=""> </span>I did not discuss the suggestions below with Kevin because it entered my mind after we stopped talking, but I propose the following to share the load:</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class="">1) Kevin send us the list of groups that the Greenbelt group sent us to contact and we each take a few people from the list to call. We both think it would be better to make phone contact with each instead
of just sending out a mass e-mail. We should also think about enlisting a couple of other people from our membership to help with these calls.

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class="">2) Kevin send us a brief note with the details of the meeting, its purpose, etc. to help us in making the calls.</span></p>
