Grand River Conservation Authority produces an annual publication called the Grand Actions Registry. The Registry includes descriptions of groups and activities that support the designation of the Grand River and its major tributaries (Speed, Eramosa, Nith and Conestogo Rivers) as a Canadian Heritage Rivers.<br>You have submitted contributions to the Registry in the past. Since 2005, your submissions have been published as searchable on-line data base available on the GRCA website, http://www.grandriver.ca/GrandActionsRegistry/<br>As 2014 approaches – the 20th anniversary of the designation – we are now gearing up to prepare a 20-Year Monitoring Report. This report is required by the Canadian Heritage Rivers Board to support the continued designation of the rivers.<br>We will be putting our resources into producing this document. As well, this year we will be exploring ways to mark the anniversary of the Heritage River designation and supporting
the ongoing work of the Grand Strategy Heritage Working Group.<br>As a result of our commitment to these tasks, we will no longer be producing the Grand Actions Registry but your past submissions will remain in the on-line data base.<br>Your past submissions will be very helpful as we prepare the 20-Year Monitoring Report. When the report is complete it will be posted on the GRCA website.
