Also, candidates should be asked to be clear on the legality of campaigning before a writ has been issued.

<div>I believe that Walsh-Bowers ran for the NDP one or two or three elections ago. Right now I feel so sour abut the demise of civility and ethics in federal politics that I wish we had a Canadian counterpart of the independent candidate in the last election
in Ukraine who had his name legally changed to "None of the Above" for the ballot.</div>

We need to make a decision regarding the request at the end of this e-mail list that LuLu has received from a federal candidate to distribute literature at our event in April. Just before my e-mail you can see Susan K’s thoughts on this. My thought, different
from Susan K’s, is that we should set up a table in the room for anyone who wishes to to set out any literature they wish, including political candidates. But candidates or parties should not be allowed to distribute it or greet at the door, etc. - only having
it on a table with other people’s literature.<br>
