that we hold our next regular meeting in Guelph at the beginning of June

that we hold a working meeting on May 22nd. The sole purpose of this meeting would be to put together our thoughts on what we would like to see municipal election candidates commit to. We said that we needed to put this out before summer so that we might affect their campaign promises, literature, etc. The draft we put together at this meeting would then be sent to all of GREN for input before we finalized it. If it seems that we are coming to agreement that way, we could then not hold our regular June meeting. We could also at that meeting inform people of our pipeline release plans but we can also do that through e-mail. In terms of the position on the pipeline, GREN has already agreed to it – and we have been quite public about it. At least I have been.

Since I wouldn’t expect many people at our May 22nd meeting, I propose that we hold it in someone’s home. Mine may not be quite large enough so could we hold it at someone else’s place? I wouldn’t expect more than 10 to 12 people.
Does this strategy sound good to people?
