had no idea the format would be unreadable by others. I've been sending drafts
out in Word in case there were changes, they could be edited directly into the

easily decipherable here. They were in a specific Microsoft Windows format. We
do not use Windows. We use open source/linux.<BR><BR><B>Suggestion</B>: send
out minutes as .pdf file which everyone can read with the free downloadable
adobe reader software.<BR><BR>Does everyone have the ability to make/read
.pdfs? <BR><BR>Personally, I do not send .doc formats into cyberspace for
several reasons:<BR>

<LI>It can be edited
<LI>Personal information from source can be traced
<LI>Whether you can open or not depends on specific operating system and
word processor software<BR></LI></UL>Pdfs only require free adobe reader
program to decode which available for all computer
