Hi,
I wasn't sure if I should share this with the full GREN list, but I know
you all knew Penelope. She was certainly a feisty, principled woman... I
talked to her a few years ago (who knows, that could have been 5 or 10
years ago and I believe she had developed Parkinson's. Sad...

Hello family and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you tonight on behalf of
myself and my brother, Aris. Our mother, Penelope Polyzou, passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, March 8th at her residence in Stittsville, Ontario.

She was a sweet, caring, smart, and passionate woman, who loved animals,
rocks, chemistry, space, and politics, not to mention chocolate cake.
She has had an impact on many people across the many places she lived in
over her 82 years.

Aris and I would like to invite you to a virtual celebration of her life.
