[GREN-Exec] GREN Website Update

Hi GREN Executive,

As you know Susan Koswan and I have been working with Scott Wicken for well over a year to redevelop and update the GREN website and our e-mail Listserv.  It has been a complex and trying process that took the website from an outdated, archaic language/system to a somewhat newer but just as unique set-up.  

The good news is that the site has been live for a few weeks now, we’ve worked out all the bugs that we know of, and we have the ability to do much of the future site updates/administration ourselves.  The bad news is that it still may not look as professional as other sites and there could be programming issues in the future but we will simply have to address them as they arise.

Scott’s bill is a bit higher than anticipated but he ended up putting considerably more time than expected into our site to try to get it working properly.  We have the funds and budget for this in the Greenbelt funding and I have attached his invoice below.

Please let Susan and I know any questions or ideas about our website and e-mail list.

If you can work to get a cheque to Scott that would be fantastic - I think he lives on a street right near your house.
