[GREN-Exec] Fwd: GRIDS 2 / MCR - Urban Growth Survey Results

Hi Folks,

Thanks again for a good meeting yesterday afternoon.  I will follow-up more with many of the things we discussed over the days ahead however, the OGA just received this update from Hamilton on the results of their Urban Growth Survey Results where the City asked citizens for their preferred growth option.  Over 18,000 households responded and you’ll see that over 90% voted to hold their urban boundary and not expand onto surrounding farmland.  

We may have to engage in a similar exercise here this autumn as the Region of Waterloo investigates three growth scenarios.  There’s lots we can learn from Hamilton.
