P.S. It looks like the OGA is really going to work hard over the next few weeks to pull together the Greenbelt expansion plan that the Minister and Premier said that they had been expecting from the Greenbelt Council.  David Crombie, Kevin Eby, Linda Pim and other Ex-Members as well as the OGA groups are all onboard and eager to call out the Premier’s on this and see if we can’t force his hand.  Waterloo would certainly have the most to gain from expansion as our local protections have always anticipated provincial reinforcement.  I’ll keep you posted as things coming together.

I agree that we don't need more detail than this to send out.

I think we should make three changes in item 1:

  1.  Spell out "OGA" - people may not know what OGA stands for.
  2.  In $5,000 part for website, change "salary" to "costs." "Salary" implies an on-going regular contract.
  3.  In Kevin's part change "expenses" to "costs." Expenses is not usually seen as including time, whereas "costs" includes time and expenses. I would also change it to say "partial payment of costs."

I thought is was a very useful and satisfying call. Thanks to Susan for pulling this all together.
