Is everyone okay if I go to this on behalf of GREN? Need to know ASAP so I can let them know by Wed. 

Also, a classmate of mine wants to go, so if she needs to list an org’n, can she use GREN?

I am writing to invite you to participate in a stakeholder engagement on the ‘Sustaining Ontario's Agricultural Soils: Towards a Shared Vision’ discussion paper, to initiate a public dialogue on developing a provincial agricultural soil health and conservation strategy.

A new strategy will build on the extensive soils work by both OMAFRA and stakeholder organizations, and ensure that both government and the agricultural sector are doing the right things to address soil  issues (including water quality impacts) over the long term.  This initiative will also directly contribute to Ontario’s climate change goals and help the province deliver on its recently released Climate Change Action Plan.

We would like to invite you or another representative from your organization to attend the Guelph session at the OMAFRA Conference Centre, One Stone Road West, on October 31st. The session will run from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm, and will include lunch.

In order to make appropriate arrangements, please let us know if you plan to attend by October 26th, by contacting the Agricultural Information Contact Centre (Toll Free: 1-877-424-1300; Local: (519) 826-4047; E-mail: ag.info.omafra at ontario.ca). Please indicate when replying if French language services are required; if there is interest, we will host a French language webinar, and follow up with more information. Please also indicate any accommodation that is required, including any dietary preferences.

I have attached a copy of the discussion paper for your convenience. It will be available for public comment until November 27, 2016.

Nous souhaitons vous inviter ou inviter un autre représentant ou une autre représentante de votre organisme à assister à la séance de Guelph qui aura lieu au Centre de conférences du MAAARO, 1 Stone Road Ouest, le 31 octobre. La séance se déroulera de 9 h 30 à 14 h et comprendra le dîner.
