[GREN-Exec] We want GREN at UW's first ever ENVigorate Festival

We don't really have a display - just business cards and some handouts with
our info and I really don't like doing this kind of thing, but maybe we
should think about creating one and having a pool of people who like to do
this, because it does keep cropping up.

In my opinion feel free to share with GREN though I will be unable to attend
or help with any sort of table or display.  

 

It would be nice I guess if someone can thank them for the invite.

To whom it may Concern,

On behalf of the students and teaching staff at the University of Waterloo's
Faculty of the Environment I would like to invite the Grand River
Environmental Network to participate in an exciting community building
opportunity on our campus.

On Friday, March 27th we will be hosting the first annual ENVigorate
Festival.  This all-day event aims to showcase the accomplishments of
students, provide opportunities for learning about local sustainability
practices, and strengthen connections among those working in the faculty and
the broader Kitchener-Waterloo community.

One of the big activities going on during the day will be the "community
fair".  Here, we envision a wide range of not-for-profit organizations from
around the KW region and student groups from the university, setting up
information and demonstration tables in the main atrium of the Environment
complex.

If this is something that GREN would like to be a part of, well we would
love to have you.  We will provide the tables and chairs (and anything else
you might need). Beyond that, you are free to use the space however you see
fit whether it be to share information about your cause, recruit people to
join your organization, or display your projects.

If you are interested in getting involved with our festival, or if you have
any questions, please send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you!
