[GREN-Exec] Please review

Theo – Yes, we should have the full mailing address for GREN, it’s just the map that isn’t necessary. Or do you get (or want) people coming to your house?

Hi Sue,

We'll look into all the technical issues you mentioned.

The content will need to be provided by the GREN Exec or other designed people. Do we need to meet and discuss these issues?

Location: is there a consensus to remove the physical location? I still receive snail mail with peoples' membership dues...

Thanks Theo!

I looked at it on my phone this morning and it works quite well.

What stood out:

1) not sure if this is a content or format issue – under the list of Get Involved the contact emails are below the list of issues so you can’t tell who to contact for what issue.

2) Only the home page link shows up on the opening page with an arrow to the right that brings up the other pages. Not sure if it would be better for all the links to show up on that first page. Although I figured it out fairly quickly and I’m pretty dumb at these things. 8-)

3) Location – do you really want a map coming up with your home address since your address is only for snailmail purposes? Should we change this to just show mailing address?

4) Some content does need to be updated. Is that what we will do once we’ve given Patrick the thumbs up?

On my laptop, it looks really, really good!

Thank you, Kevin, for the prompt answer.

I'll collect all your questions/suggestions and I'll send them to Patrick next week. Then we'll see...

Wow! Looks good Theo. I really like the photograph background. Is there any way that we can reduce the prominence of the blue border and our logo and draw more attention to the nature photography?

Keep moving forward.

Cheers,

Kevin.

Hello All,

Please review and comment on the new look & feel of the proposed new GREN website.

It can be found at:

    grensite.gren.ca <http://grensite.gren.ca/>

Please ask any questions and provide any suggestions as you might see fit.

We have a few more items to sort out - mainly the portability of certain links.

Also, please think about the blog management/moderation or even if we want a blog on our website at this stage.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Theo
