[GREN-Exec] Nestle and water taking permits in Elora

Hi GREN Exec,

 

I've been contacted by Josh Mac, who has created a wonderful Facebook group
to get people involved and talking about community issues in Elora. One of
their big concerns now is about Nestle's potential acquisition of the
Middlebrook Water Company and he is looking for voices of reason, science
and farmers who are concerned about dropping water tables to fight against
this.

I've copied Josh here, who would very much welcome your ideas, contacts etc.
They have already had a community meeting with Wellington Waterwatchers. So
far, I have suggested contacting Emil Frind, and Council of Canadians in
Guelph. And to talk to Jeff Stager about getting a segment on his
agriculture show.
