Thank you to those who have taken the time to complete the survey already. 
For those who have not yet had an opportunity to do so, please consider taking a few minutes to complete the survey so your views are represented in the 20th anniversary report for the designation of the Grand River and its tributaries as a Canadian Heritage River.
 
 
The year 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the designation of the Grand River and its major tributaries as Canadian Heritage Rivers.  
On behalf of the Grand River watershed residents and municipalities, the Grand River Conservation Authority has supported the Heritage Working Group, which coordinates the designation, and encourages active participation in supporting recognition of the Grand River and tributaries as Canadian Heritage River.
 
To maintain the designation, a 20 year monitoring report is needed for submission to the Canadian Heritage Rivers Board.Your participation in helping us to collect this information is most appreciated. In order to fulfill this obligation, information about status of heritage values, associated management issues and successes, and future directions that should be undertaken is being gathered.   This information will be used to develop the monitoring report.  
This monitoring report will note changes, additions and losses to the features and values which support the designation since the last monitoring report was submitted in 2004.  The attached link will allow you to access the survey that will allow us to complete the monitoring report.  Please complete your survey by December 13, 2013. Your participation is important and appreciated.
