I'll help with the comments, John. I have time in January.
Please note what I received this morning-copied below. Does anyone know
whether one could do any good in any such role?
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Susan B
Susan,
Canada's Minister of the Environment is responsible for appointing to
Canadians to a wide variety of organizations, advisory committees, boards,
panels, etc; on topics ranging from wildlife management to conservation to
the designation of historic sites.
Minister Kent has asked Harold to supply recommendations for worthwhile
individuals for consideration, and Harold would like to suggest you, given
your work on drinking water in Elmira.
If you are interested, please send me a copy of your CV to forward to the
Minister.
If you have any questions, please get back via email or the telephone number
below.
Merry Christmas!
D.

Assistant to Harold Albrecht, MP

Subject: [GREN-Exec] Grand River SourceWater Protection Consultation
Now is our last chance to make input into the SourceWater Protection plan
before it is submitted to the Ministry of the Environment for approval.
The written comment period ends on Jan 16.
We commented at an earlier stage (with Susan K) doing much of the work. I
think it is important for us to do it again. The focus of this round of
consultations is on "policies and programs to reduce the risk posed by
significant threats and to prevent new ones from developing."
I am willing to help on this. Are there others who wish to work on this?
John
