Dear Grenlings,

The subject tag tells you all I need to say.

I found a very useful little piece about cutting down on the time taken by email.  One of the best suggestions was, when simply replying with a yes/no or very short answer to a message sent to you, to just put the message in the subject tag.  Then recipients don't have to bother opening the message.  Saves time.  Keeps Greg from becoming grumpy about getting yet another bunch of "reply-alls".  Now delete.

Much of our energy this year was taken up by the LRT debate. That was a very valuable use of our time and energies – even more so because we were part of a successful coalition.

I have, however, been getting the occasional e-mail from members asking what GREN is doing, where our meetings are, etc. I think that we need to get together to discuss what we want to do with GREN starting this fall and the best way forward for our organization.

I know that this is highly unlikely to be possible, but it would be great if we could get together this summer. Unfortunately, the only date that Susan B and I both have available in August is next Thursday the 4th. By any chance are the rest of you available then. If not, we will have to find a time in September.

Please let me know whether August 4 works for you asap.
