If anyone doubts the amount of growth that can happen in just 20 years - the proposed Regional Official Plan timeline that requires LRT capacities in our Waterloo Region check out these photos of Shanghai in 1990 vs 2010:



Two of the buildings in the photo are amongst the 10 tallest buildings in the world.
