Dear Candidates,

 

Last week the Grand River Environmental Network hosted a reception for all
Region of Waterloo candidates for the 2010 election to share our paper
"Waterloo Region: Election 2010 Creating a Sustainable and Resilient
Community".  Thank you to those who were able to attend, and for the
opportunity to hear your perspective.

 

 It came to our attention that several candidates did not see the invitation
and would have liked to attend. If this is the case, we can only surmise
that that was due to an incorrect email address and/or the invitation was
picked off by your spam filter. 

 

The paper, as well as GREN's position paper on the proposed LRT, are on the
GREN website www.gren.ca (click on GREN election 2010 agenda link on home
page). We encourage you to read both and contact us if you would like to
discuss them further.
