Newspapers unify people – I can see what is going on all over the Region and the world..I know I could “do so digitally” but its not the same – with the paper newspaper, Its all there in front of me –the big overview I can’t get on a screen – the headlines and stories I want to pursue or not – its solid - I can see it all- no scrolling, no searching, no missing what you didn’t know was there because you didn’t see it. When you’re 69 and you’ve been raised in print, its just not the same to see little bits at a time on a screen, that sometimes disappear or move or get blocked.
