The decision in BC now allows the province to appeal to the Canadian Supreme Court on the basis of INTRA VIRES; that the decision is within the jurisdiction of the province to decide. That was the original precedent in Quebec.</div><div style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">The Toronto campaign was aimed at getting the City to pass a bylaw via the Dept. of Health that would trigger the same process based on the content of the pipeline, not the physical pipeline.
