We were able to achieve unanimous motions against Bill 66 from the City of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo, and the Township of Wilmot!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">There was great discussion by Councillors in each community and it is fabulous to see the strong opposition forming across Waterloo Region to Bill 66. A clear message will certainly be sent to Queen’s Park.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><b class="">2) Remaining Council Meetings -</b> we still have three remaining municipal Council’s to work with to get motions opposing Bill 66. Please join Stephanie Sobek-Swant from rare as she tries to persuade Cambridge Councillors to approve a motion strongly opposing Bill 66 at Cambridge City Hall Council Chambers, 46 Dickson Street, Cambridge. The draft motion we have seen is concerning. There may be some standby tickets and even if you have a ticket be sure to come early and visit the information tables of community groups.
