Can someone please go through my process here and see if I've
arrived at the right conclusion.

A local organization called Open Data Exchange lists searchable
government data reports on their website:

I decided to try and find out who are the worst emitters of GHGs
in Waterloo Region from one of the reports they listed on the
website:

I clicked on 2016 All GHG activities and got this Excel
spreadsheet, which I put in order of worst emitters. These are the
top two and I am staggered by how much greater the GHGs from ADM
are than the next highest.

This is what ADM in Windsor does according to this website:
https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapid=4160759

ADM Agri-Industries Company produces biodiesel from Canola oil in
a biodiesel plant.

And then I wanted to find out how fuel is made from canola oil
and found this from the Canola Council
https://www.canolacouncil.org/canola-biofuels/canola-biofuels/canola-the-perfect-candidate-for-biodiesel-and-renewable-diesel/
about how amazing it is:

Canola biodiesel helps reduce GHG lifecycle emissions by up to
90% compared to fossil diesel.[4]

</sup>

The CO2 released by a vehicle when canola biodiesel
is burned is offset by the CO2 captured when the crop
is grown. This is different from diesel which is refined from
petroleum extracted from the earth.

Is no one calling them up on the fact that the production of
canola bio-diesel in Windsor is the biggest GHG emitter in the
province???!!!!
