<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif">Racine, Wisconsin requested to <strong>divert 7 million gallons (28 million litres) of Great Lakes water daily </strong>from Lake Michigan to the Mississippi River watershed.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif"><strong>The diverted water isn’t for drinking water, it’s for profit. </strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif">Wisconsin is bending over backwards to get Foxconn – a multinational technology manufacturing company – to set up shop in their backyard.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif">Although the Great Lakes are huge, <strong>only one per cent of the water in the lakes is renewable.</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif">We have too much to lose if the Great Lakes aren’t protected.
