of Neighbourhoods. </p>

I am sorry to inform you that Mary Connolly passed away on Friday, January 5th. She was a strong advocate for better governance, and especially the protection of our environment. </div>

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Mike Connolly who served on council at the City and Region of Waterloo. She was very involved in politics and supportive of Mike, and would often arrange meetings in their home to ensure that our concerns were brought to
Mike's attention and shared with council and staff. She would also show up at the drop of a hat to support us at council; and would write letters to politicians at all levels and to the newspapers if we needed her help. </div>
