Our campaign against Enbridge’s Line 9B pipeline refit has won a second 4-6
month postponement of this dangerous project for further safety testing. Now is

</span></b><span style="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1436338569839_3411">By far the largest assembly for
climate action ever held in Toronto rallied in Queen’s Park July 5 and marched
along University, Dundas, and Jarvis to Allen Gardens.<br>
<br>
The broad sponsoring coalition included several No Line 9 organizations, which
carried dozens of posters and placards, some of them reading “Tar Sands =
Climate Change” and “City Water at Risk: Stop Line 9.” <br>
<br>
Other supporters distributed many hundreds of leaflets and collected more than
$2,000 for legal costs of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, which is
challenging Line 9 in court.<br>
<br>
Thanks to the many East End Against Line 9 supporters who took part in the
march and helped prepare the leaflets and signs. <br>
