This is our chance to make sure that our province takes a strong stand and comes forward with world-class solutions.<div><br></div><div>At the WREN meeting last night Divest Waterloo was there with a strong call to fill the Town Hall Meeting to overflowing and ensure our regional voice is heard on the need for climate change action in Ontario. Here is the information we have been sharing about the 19th - hope this helps you as you get word out!</p><p>An unprecedented month-long process of public consultations on <a href="https://www.ontario.ca/environment-and-energy/climate-change-consultation">Ontario's Climate Change Policy</a> will wrap up in Kitchener-Waterloo on March 19 (Kitchener Public Library Central Branch, 6 to 8 pm). A broad coalition of local environmental groups wants to show the Ontario government that our region is a powerful base for creative, knowledgeable leaders who are passionate about finding climate change solutions.</p><p>We’re challenging local citizens, businesses, service groups, faith communities, students and environmental groups to <em><strong>FILL THE ROOM </strong></em>on March 19. Please spread the word to your members and networks, encourage participation, and come out to make your voice heard! Help us to demonstrate that Waterloo Region cares about addressing climate change, and that we are already working on solutions.
