Plans</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> to build a highway through</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> the wetlands,</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> extract gravel below the water table....the</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> list goes on. A great deal was invested in</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> those plans, just</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> like Cambridge West and</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> Highland Ridge. We object to</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> these plans and again state that studies show</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> that</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> stormwater from roofs and yards</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> contains contaminants,</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> pesticides, heavy</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> metal, pathogens etc. These wetlands are</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> ecologically fragile and irreplaceable and</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> cannot survive</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> the inevitable accumulation</span><br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;"> of toxins.
