I filed official reports with the NEB and the Ontario Spills Action Hotline. The theory from Fire Fighters and the MOE is that the solvent was from a person who dumped chemicals in a sewer about a mile upstream and the case was closed in spite of the fact no chemical was ever identified and it strongly conflicts with the the video I took that clearly shows the solvent is coming
from underground. The water shows a high concentration of the chemical at point of entry like smoking coming from a smokestack and you can see how it disburses. I've exhausted proper protocols, reported all my concerns properly and have demanded retests of this area because the chemical is still there. I have the evidence in sediment and water samples I took on August 17 when I filed a second report to all the agencies but I'm being stonewalled. I've been working closely with them on this for a bit. Also a<span style="background-color: transparent;" class=""> reporter from Now magazine is covering this story and the article may be published as soon as next week. We'll try the media approach first and see if we can pressure the various agencies to do proper testing. If not </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;" class="">I have Council of Canadians offering to fund an independent study of the area to identify what this solvent is and from there we can determine if the chemical matches the contents of any
of the pipelines in the area.
