Taras has explored cities around the world and will talk about the coming transportation revolution - in particular community building, transit, and urban design.<br><br>The first speaker in the ION Community and Transit Talk Series, Taras Grescoe is a highly-respected thought-leader on sustainable transportation. His talk will explore urban transportation, city living, and the world's great transit systems with thoughts and ideas for our community as the launch of our ION Light Rail Transit and Bus Rapid Transit approaches.<br><br>Details are as follows:<br><br>Date: Thursday, June 19, 2014, 7:00pm<br>Location: Knox Presbyterian Church, 50 Erb Street W., Waterloo<br>Cost: Free!<br><br>We hope that you will be able to attend this fun, informative talk geared to everyone in our community.
