PBS show Nova -it has amazing shots and video of planet earth from space 

taken by satellites showing systems that were not previously visible to the 

human eye. It is excellent, but is quite long, so maybe watch it in chunks when 

you can - was a 2 hour special. The music can be a bit overly - dramatic at
