They need fiscal support to help sponsor the costs for participating in the event including basic transportation and food expenses. They have spoken at events at UW about how their communities are impacted by environmental degradation, what challenges the youth face and how desperately they want to help make positive changes. Their stories are so important to share. They've lost so many friends and family to suicide, cancers etc. You
can't ruin the environment without ruining the fabric of their culture. They have a huge mountain to climb to change the dynamic but each time they make it to an event, it builds hope for the entire communities. It doesn't take much to help.
