<FONT FACE="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:11pt'>Time to start thinking about fall and GREN activities. Most of our efforts this past year went into the successful effort to get the Waterloo Regional Council to choose Light Rail Transit as the core of its long-term transit plans. This meant that we set aside some of our other normal activities.<BR>

Earlier this month, your GREN executive committee met to discuss possible future activities. The minutes from that meeting are attached. They will show you the types of activities that we thought would be useful to focus on in the coming year. We will hold a meeting in the latter part of September to discuss these ideas with all of you. If you have any thoughts on these or other activities that GREN should engage in, please attend the meeting or e-mail comments in advance of the meeting.<BR>
