I'm ready to create a "Stop the Quarry Candlelight Vigil" on Saturday May 21 or Sunday May 22 to raise public awareness about the Highland Companies Quarry proposal.
<br>

Here is how I envision it. It will be short and simple event. To take place in Waterloo Town Square. (I have to check on availability but hopefully it will be there.)<br>

<span style="font-weight:bold">Step 1</span><br>
A GREN rep gives a quick welcome and show the You Tube video that Kevin shared today using a power point projector in Waterloo Square. We will distribute a single page flyer with the URL of the video, the Highland Quarry application info the Environmental Bill
of Rights web page so folks can visit these sites and leave their comments on this proposal. The brochure will also feature the mailing address of where people can write to give comment so even if they don't have a computer, they can have a say.

<span style="font-weight:bold">Step 2</span><br>
We light our candles and a rep from NDACT or Gravel Watch will speak to the crowd for approx. 5-10 minutes each.<br>

Songs are sung. (Any recommendations?) <br>

Closing thanks and break down of the set up.<br>
