<font style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">I know
that currently, funding for tree planting for schools, parklands etc. is
available by way of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation</span></font><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">.
The program is run by volunteers and donations are provided by banking
customers to fund local environmental projects. Our location is particularly wealthy
in terms of funds. Most grants given are around $2,500 but earlier this
year they donated $10,000 to help support the U of W's green roof for
their new LEEDS Platinum facility. They've helped landscape schools, they fund work by Trout Unlimited to help restore creeks etc. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Right now TD Friends of the Environment in Waterloo are looking for folks to give money to and they've got a good amount to work with. .
