The result can be that the (oft ideological) prejudices of readers are reinforced instead of helping to enlighten them. <b>I hesitate to wonder if the media might be part of a Mushroom Conspiracy when they accept opinion articles based on false assumptions supposedly for the sake of the shaky media-touted concept of "balance" (which really needs to be re-thought)!! <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal; "> And it was this faulty concept of media balance that the media used to justify "balancing" the climate change views of reputable scientists with mostly sham "scientists" allegedly funded indirectly by oil companies & their friends.</span></b></div></body></html>
