<DIV>Lulu the 20 days will NOT pass
peacefully It was pointed out to me at the last Regional
meeting by Jim Wideman and Tom Galloway that the Objectors were NOT
at the meeting and therefore they wiil ,probably Take us to the
OMB....and I was assured that the reason they voted negatively was to defer the
cost of the OMB to which I responded that they were going to take us to
the OMB anyway if they could not Bully us into
giving them what they wanted no matter what the harm to our
drinking water and the survival of this community. Watch for the
announcement . God help us. Ginny</DIV>

<DIV><STRONG>Province cuts funding for solar power</STRONG></DIV>
<DIV>Energy minister Brad Duguid caused an uproar July 2 when he
announced that the Ontario Power Authority will only pay 58.8 cents per
kilowatt hour for electricity from small, ground-mounted solar projects
of 10 kilowatts or less. (The province originally committed to 80.2
cents per kilowatt hour.)</DIV>

<DIV>In response, the <STRONG>Environmental Commissioner</STRONG>
demanded to see the financial assumptions used by the Ontario Power
