If I may, I will phone your executive assistant early next week and arrange a specific time,<br><br>I have reason to believe that the estimated ridership for a Cambridge LRT was lower than the likely reality for at least two reasons which I have agreement on with a long time Cambridge resident -- and thoughtful environmentalist -- who is running for Council. I will be exploring this further with Region staff and their consultants.<br><br>And when Chair Ken Seiling says that it was never intended to include Cambridge in the LRT (now its 2033 or 2036!), perhaps if they had used a smarter way of estimating prospective LRT ridership, then Ken might have said the opposite!<br><br>The same might apply to the KW estimates resulting in a stronger argument for LRT funding overall!<br><br>Of course, I hope to speak with you abut the importance of a Riverside Park crossing by CP especially -- and possibly the LRT. As I have in effect said in my emails, staff needs to be much more sophisticated in their analysis of the situation.<br><br>I will continue to work tirelessly for a Cambridge LRT in Stage 1 via IDEAS that save big on capital costs and increase average speed.
