<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">March 5, 2010<br><br>GRENers<br><br>It
has been argued for decades that the Solution to Pollution is
Dilution. In the case of fluoridation chemicals, we remove fluoride
from the air and dilute it in our drinking water.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">An engineering report for the city of
Boulder, Colorado did an evaluation of fluoridation chemicals and
sources and found that much of the fluoride chemicals used for water
fluoridation are now coming out of China with non-existent regulatory
monitoring of these imports. As most people are aware, China has a
poor track record when it comes to consumer safety.

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">According to the US Department of
Agriculture “airborne fluorides have caused more worldwide damage
to domestic animals than any other pollutant.”
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">The effects of fluorides on plants and
animals is significant as reported by Shupe; “There has been more
litigation on alleged damage to agriculture by fluoride than all
other pollutants combined…of the major airborne pollutants,
inorganic fluoride [is] clearly the most toxic”
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">A member of the National Academy of
Sciences reports; “From 1957 to 1968 fluoride was responsible for
more damage claims than all 20 other major air pollutants combined.”

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">A recent story from Australia describes
how Kangaroos have been poisoned by fluoride air emissions from Alcoa
and Austral Bricks factories. <br></p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><a href="http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/roos-victims-of-factory-fluoride-20100220-oms2.html">http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/roos-victims-of-factory-fluoride-20100220-oms2.html</a></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">Autopsies performed at Melbourne
University on 49 kangaroos culled at Alcoa on a single day last year
found all but one were suffering from flurosis, which leads to
excessive bone growths, or lesions, on joints in the paws, ankles and
calves. It can also cause tooth and jaw deformities that hinder
eating and foraging. Jenny Charles, associate professor in veterinary
pathology at Melbourne University, said research had found that up to
90 per cent of the kangaroos living at the Portland site had some
form of flurosis on their teeth and a quarter had visible limb lumps.
The author wrote that, "the affected kangaroos are living near
the Alcoa aluminium smelter in Portland, in the state's south-west,
and the Austral Bricks factory at Craigieburn."</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">As stated by the Canadian National
Research Council 1977 Review “Environmental Fluorides”; “Many
systems utilized for airborne emission-control contribute extensively
to the amount of fluoride discharged in wastewaters.”
