I very much agree with this. However, your group does not seem to propose any ways to improve the LRT plan so that it is better designed to meet your interference, cost, etc. concerns -- this is an easy abdication of T4ST's talents if you & Peter are any indication. Certainly the credibility of T4ST would be enhanced if you added a dimension of constructive criticism in which you propose ideas to better the existing LRT plan so that it more optimally meets your concerns and hopes. And ignoring the great benefits of an integrated LRT/bus system etc. leaves the impression that T4ST is just another angry NIMBY group who cares little about the greater net social and environmental benefits of well-designed rapid rail over rapid bus. I could have helped to give your group a very creative and constructive dimension. </span></span></div><div><br></div><div><div>I certainly appreciated my discussions with you then Peter Gay, P. Eng. I had hoped to continue those discussions with both of you. Likely you and Peter had a chat and decided to exclude me from involvement. This seems to be an admission that you are not a public interest group but a somewhat close-minded propaganda group as James Bow suggests below -- I hope not. I will attend with interest your Nov. 5 "Andy Haydon Talk" public meeting as I have had extensive experience with the very uncomfortable Ottawa bus system. Keep in mind that Ottawa/Gatineau area has little to compare to W-K-C.</div><div><br></div><div>I would be more than willing to have a further conversation with you to reach a better mutual understanding.
