Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update. Monday March 20th the Biehn Dr. EA will be coming back
to City of Kitchener Council for their decision on the EA and the proposed
road extension.

Our group has worked hard to prepare additional presentations to delegate
to Council.
Our ask is that the infrastructure be connected through directional
drilling in the hopes that it will have minimal impact on the PSW. We are
also asking that no road ( Biehn Dr ) be put in place to make a connection
to Robert Ferrie but to continue using Caryndale Dr. as the traffic route.
We have debunked the numbers that show there may be increased traffic and
have done some research on the ability to do directional drilling as the
solution to making the municipal service connection.

We also invited all of Council to attend a walking tour of the area. To
date we have walked with Councillor Jason Deneault and his family,
Councillor Debbie Chapman and her husband , Regional Councillor Colleen
James and her daughter, Green Party member David Weber.

We have extended another invitation for the rest of Council to attend with
the understanding that our own Councillor, Christine Michaud can not attend
because she declared a conflict of interest on the Biehn Dr. extension.
There has been great concern about this declaration which leaves our
community without a voice at the Council table that night.

Our ask of the community is that we get as many people to attend in person
to fill up the Council Chambers. *WE* need the "bums in seats" and hope
that you will be able to take time out of your very busy schedules to
attend. Presently the Council meeting is scheduled for 6 pm, but I have
asked for a clarification from clerks because usually Council meetings
don't start until 7pm. You can double check by Friday on the City of
Kitchener for the timing and actual agenda. website:

I look forward to seeing many of your faces in the gallery. Thanks so much
for letting me interrupt your day with another request!

Warm Regards,

*Yvonne Fernandes*
