[All] Fwd: Rally Against the Big Sprawl

Please share the following information with your contacts.

The provincial government is intent on developing farmland and natural
areas.  We have until August 4th to respond to the government's latest
plans.

Please join the rally to oppose the government's plans that will only
benefit developers and not address our current housing crisis.  See the
attached flyer with some details.

In addition to the info in the flyer please be advised that there will be a
Greeter's Table on University Ave. between Seagram and Westmount where
people can check in anytime after 1:45 on July 29th.  We will be walking
along University Ave for 30 minutes or so then will head to the bandshell
in Waterloo Park, just a short distance from University Ave., where we will
hear from some politicians and concerned citizens.

U of W parking lot C can be accessed off Seagram Dr.  There is a flat fee
of $5 to park there and it is a short walk from where we are meeting.
Parking lot C can be accessed by turning onto Seagram Drive at the traffic
lights on University Ave. opposite the entrance to University of Waterloo.

People are free to stay and picnic after the rally in the area adjacent to
the bandshell but will need to bring their own chairs or a picnic blanket *and
their own food and drinks.  *.
