[All] Today: Stand up for the Countryside Line and GREN Potluck Meeting - 5pm, Social 6pm

Good Day,

Two things:

1) Countryside Line Designation - Below is an e-mail from the folks at Hold The Line regarding the proposal coming before Waterloo Regional Council tomorrow from Waterloo Mayor Dorothy McCabe to protect an equivalent amount of land within the Countryside Line that the Provincial Government has forced to be removed and developed.  Hopefully you can use Hold The Line's automatic e-mail form to send an e-mail to Regional Councillors and Mayors to support this initiative to reinforce our Countryside Line. 2) Today! - GREN & Waterloo Region Environmental Groups Summer BBQ and Potluck at Sunfish Lake - A reminder that tonight at 5pm is a short GREN Meeting in-person (outdoors) at Sunfish Lake followed by a potluck supper and campfire at 6pm with other environmental organizations from around our Grand River watershed.

Details are as follows:

	Time & Date: Tuesday, August 29th - GREN meeting at starting at 5 PM, Social event and potluck dinner at 6 PM

	Location: Thomason Residence Sunfish lake - 1115 Cedar Grove Road, Waterloo (map attached below).  Call for directions at 519-888-0519 if needed.

	Details: Go for a swim or canoeing, we will have a campfire as it gets into the evening and we can make it fun with a potluck where everyone brings some sort of food to share. 

If you are able to drive people or interested in joining a carpool please let me know.

Please bring a jacket and lawn chair if you have one.  Please also RSVP if you can join us.  Hope to see you soon!
