Hi everyone!
I filed a formal complaint years back on RCB’s climate denial. It is rooted to Rob Peterson who was the CEO at Imperial Oil who ignored their own corporate data: the findings of the Holland Report which proved the climate risks.
After he left Imperial Oil he became the director of investments at RBC.
My sworn testimony to the SEC is online here.

To add to this, here is Sir John Armitt speaking of “binding politicians” to 30 year old plans in this 2015 KPMG Insight report. He is chairman of the UK’s National Infrastructure commission. This is the info on that.
Hope this helps!
Lulu 😀

Subject: Climate Action rally - can you join us? Friday October 29 @ noon, Waterloo Town Square Over the past 5 years, RBC has been the world's 5th largest investor in fossil fuel projects. Let's make it clear that this is unacceptable!

Divest Waterloo is supporting Lead Now as part of a global day of action against banks investing in fossil fuels. We're asking for your support to send a clear message to RBC, the worst offender among Canadian banks, that they are on the wrong side of history in our collective efforts to address climate change.
Lead Now Kitchener-Waterloo is working with Fossil Free UW and local members of Banking on a Better Future to organize the event. They are seeking volunteers to spell out the $200,000,000,000 that RBC invested in the fossil fuel industry between2016 and 2020, AFTER the world had committed to address climate change as part of theParis Agreement. The action will take place in front of RBC's Uptown Waterloo bank, 70-74 King St N, opposite Waterloo Town Square. The rally will assemble at Waterloo Town Square.
If you can commit to holding one of the signs, please email kaeelgie at yahoo.com. Whether you hold a sign or not, please join us at noon to send a clear message to RBC, and to all banks, that it is time they turned their backs on fossil fuels and faced the reality of and opportunity for a clean energy future.
Thank you for your ongoing support forDivest Waterloo and for your part in our collective action to raise awareness and engage our community on issues related to climate change, our pursuit of a low carbon economy, and our movement towards a just and sustainable future. We hope that you and your loved ones are well, and look forward to a time when we can gather again.
