The leading edge of the climatecrisis is hitting Canada now. Forest fires, heat ‘domes’ and droughtin the west this summer are the most recent evidence ofthis.

When it comes to responding to theclimate crisis - all of our backyards are connected. One important wayto prevent greater climate chaos is to protect water and nature in ourown backyards.

Watershed 2021 will introduce youto people who are leading the efforts to protect water in Ontario.This single day digital convention is held October 16th(only 1 day away) and will include key-note and panel discussions,workshops, musical performances, training and more!

Watershed 2021 begins with a panelconversation with leaders from Indigenous communities about howrematriation, land back, & land trusts protect water and move ustowards justice. 

You can also join workshops aboutthe threats to water security caused by proposed urban sprawl, gravelmining, water bottling and plastic pollution. 

Representatives of Ontario’spolitical parties will speak to their policies to protect water andthe environment and their response to the climate crisis. Because,from now on every decision a politician makes will affect the amountof climate chaos you, your children and your grandchildren mustface.
